Communication
The Project "Biotechnology Outreach in the Philippines" provides the information, education, and communication component of the ABSP II Southeast Asia Project. It deals with four major activities:
- Understanding and monitoring public knowledge and opinion;
- capacity building in communicating biotechnology;
- development and targeted dissemination of communication messages and materials on crop biotechnology to various stakeholder groups; and
- Increasing awareness of ABSP II regional activities.
