ISAAA Inc. Releases Fourth Issue of Pinoy Biotek Magazine
|
ISAAA Inc., as part of the Pinoy Biotek na Tayo project with the Philippine Agriculture and Fisheries Biotechnology Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA Biotech Program), releases the third issue of Pinoy Biotek Magazine, an information resource tool to help Filipinos better understand agricultural biotechnology (agbiotech).
Magazines have a far-reaching impact on society. They are a great source of information and entertainment, present stories with more details than newspaper articles, and are useful in a variety of ways, both for entertainment and for learning. Magazine articles are complemented with photographs, illustrations, or infographics, making them visually engaging and easy to understand. Magazines are also a valuable resource in classrooms as they provide content on various subjects, often presented in an interesting and visually stimulating way for students. Magazines are also affordable, portable, and shareable.
Magazines have a long and influential mark on society, shaping everything from cultural trends to social movements. In print and digital formats, magazines provide targeted content and in-depth articles on various topics, from science and history to current events and hobbies. Magazines also act as curated collections of information on a specific topic or area of interest. New developments in biotechnology, especially agbiotech interest many people, but these topics should be presented in an easy-to-understand format and include important details. Magazines offer the space and coverage for a more in-depth discussion of modern agbiotech, designed for targeted audiences in a visually engaging presentation.
Pinoy Biotek Magazine aims to raise awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Pinoy products derived from both conventional and modern biotechnology. This magazine will be published in print and distributed for free to selected schools and institutions. It is also available for free download on the ISAAA Inc. website at www.isaaa.org.
